Custom Carburetors for Your Ural
Crawford Sales is now offering customized Constant Velocity (CV) carburetors. Our CV carburetors have a
slide with a diaphragm that uses vacuum in conjunction with a butterfly to control the opening of the
carburetor.
We buy complete new carbs but use different parts to customize them for the Ural. First, we completely
disassemble the carb. From there, we add or change parts to bring the assembly up to what the Ural engine
requires. Our carbs can be used on Ural motorcycles built from the late 1980 bikes all the way up to 2013.
We will be changing jets on the new carbs to match the needs of owner’s bike. We can sell just one new
carburetor but the other carb being used must be matched to the new carb. Owners must send the second
carb to us so we can make a matched pair.
All carbs will have a serial number and the Crawford logo on them so we will be able keep track of them and
the owner will know exactly what jets we put in them.
They will all come with the air screw caps, vacuum port caps, vent caps, and a right-side linkage guard.
The first 5 sets sold will have the stainless steel screw set installed.

Crawford Sales is now a dealer for C5 Performance electronic ignitions for Ural motorcycles. The C5 ignition is based on PowerArc ignition components. However, the C5 PowerArc Ignition is different from previous PowerArc ignitions for the Ural, and in my opinion, outperforms other ignition systems. Crawford Sales has also changed the mounting system slightly to make it easier for the owner to mount the new ignition. All ignition systems will come with color instructions, and if you have any questions, we are here to help.
How to order from us: Please give us a call or email at your convenience specifying your parts needs. Once we have your information on file (address, phone number, etc.) and know what year and model of bike you have, we will be able to send you the exact parts you need. For future parts orders, an email telling us your needs will be sufficient. If your shipping or billing information has changed, we will need an update.
