Thank you for joining us as we recreated our trip to Russia and the Ural (IMZ) factory in Irbit. We tried to show you as much as we could and still keep it interesting. Between Vance and me, we took over 700 pictures. Most of them were taken at the factory. We tried to select the ones which best showed the processes that go into building Ural motorcycles and the people who make them happen. With my background in tool and die making for forty-three years and having been self-employed in that trade for over thirty years, I could have spent another week just looking at the different machining operations, asking questions and talking to the engineers and people at the factory. It was a good idea that Vance had the watch out and kept pushing me along when I got stuck in one place and wouldn't move. Five days at the factory might seem like a long time but it went fast and when it was time to go we really didn't want to miss our flight home. I would like to thank IMWA and all of the people at the factory for making our visit a success. Thanks especially to Ilya and Madina for making most of the arrangements. A year ago at this time, Vance and I made a commitment to each other that we were going to Russia and visit the factory. A once in a lifetime trip, we told each other. On the plane on the way home, we started planning the next one. Look at it this way: Every time you go it gets easier, you learn more and have more fun. It sounds like a plan to me. Thank you for looking and we hope you enjoyed the adventure.
