Thanks to everyone who attended the rally and supported the Ride for Kids. See you next year!

The rally officially opened with the hanging of the Riders of the Eastern Front banner in the shop.

The tent was set up and bikes were parked around it and in front of the shop.

Supper on Friday evening was at Brown's Root Beer and Sandwich Shop, a nice old-fashioned drive-in with good food and ice cream. Two rides were planned for Saturday, but morning rain caused a cancellation. After lunch at Rally HQ, everyone saddled up for a 50 mile ride.
We returned to Rally HQ for supper with burgers and chicken cooked by Al and Terry. Lots of good food and good conversation. Door prizes followed, with tickets drawn by Julie Meyer, special guest from Australia.

We finished up the Rally with the Ride for Kids, a fund raiser for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (see our links page for details). Sidecars are needed in all rides so that patients and siblings (and sometimes parents) can share in the fun. It was a wonderful day, the weather was beautiful, and a good time was had by all.
